Glacial Belts

The transparent teal reminds me of glaciers I saw in pics from New Zealand earlier today.


That's some watered down raku wrapped around the teal. I haven't tried this design before, but I'm really pleased with how it turned out.

We must be channeling each other, I was just looking at Corina's book last night about aqua on ivory, and I am heading to the studio this morning with rods in hand. I love what teal does and the addition of the raku is a great touch.

OOOoooo, AAAAaaaah. That is beautiful colour. The green side of teal is one I've been trying to get in glaze and just haven't gooten there yer. Little jealous here :-)
