I am a pyromaniac to the max! I LOVE to fire up my torch and melt glass in a flame close to 2000 degrees hot. Unfortunately, I only find the time to do this at night or on the weekends when the kids are sleeping.
Lampworking has been my passion since 2005 and I can't see myself getting bored with this anytime soon. It is my time to create, meditate and find solitude in new, pea-sized combinations of colors, shapes, sizes and textures. In between moments of solitude at the torch, I work for one of the big phone companies to pay the bills.
I enjoy watching my husband play tennis because I get to see him doing something he loves wholeheartedly. I tickle my kids in their sweet spots like backs of the knees and their bellies just to hear them giggle. And giggle some more because I can't get enough of listening to how sometimes it is the same breathless giggle they had as babies.
Our home is a bit of a zoo. We have two dogs. Three cats. Two tanks of fish. Two kids. One husband and one wife. I'd like a wife of my own to help with this zoo and then maybe I could find a little extra time on the torch at night. ;)

I saved up and bought a digital SLR camera in the fall of 2009. It is my BFF. I take it with me almost everywhere. I can't get enough of taking pictures of everything and then seeing how differently some things look through my lens.
I also like powertools, but don't look to me as the Poster Child for Safety!
