It has been one week now since I gave every semblance of Corporate America back to The Man. My breathing is slowing down and I am enjoying every day with my kids when they get off the bus. I still catch myself mentally preparing for the next work day, the conference calls I will need to join, the reports needing completion. And then I am reminded that I don't have those stresses anymore and I sigh in thanks.
I am so very happy now with where my life is and where we are headed. I am finding days spent doing what I love just create so much more room for love and patience with my family members. Not carrying that blackberry with me helps, too.
I was amazed by your outpouring of support and encouragement and congratulations last week when I shared what has been going on. You all are just the best. Thank you for coming here and supporting me.
I'll stop gushing now. I just wanted to say thank you. :)

woohoo for you! It's kinda like sending your kids off to school for the first time. First you panic and cry, then you go, "hey, this ain't so bad!" lol
I haven't been thrifting much lately but need to soon - need tables and lamps for the apt. Maybe next week?
It's a great feeling isnt it? When I left corporate america it took a bit of adjustment but I couldnt be happier (and healthier) now! Enjoy every minute!
shwelcome!!! ;)
What a wonderful feeling to be in control of your days, and to not be attached to any electronic gadgets unless you choose.
You are blessed!
I am so happy for you (and envious, lol)! You definitely deserve it. So glad you have time to do what you love and spend time with your family :)
Cool pic of you, Kelley! Love it. You look so content! Congrats. You can bring anything you want into your life, you just have to allow yourself to have it. I've learned that and I know you have, too. It's that positive energy you have and your focus that has brought you where you want to be. Keep, keepin' on, Girl!
I love it. And am so happy that you are happy:-).
I'm so happy for you!
Life is good. You look happy and that makes me smile.
